Can't I just get this data free from the FSA or Companies House?
You can, but it's two separate sources, unfiltered, and stale in bulk form (the free Companies House download can be up to 30 days old). To get what we send, you'd scrape the food-hygiene register, join it to Companies House, filter out everything that isn't a real new food venue, and check which are lawful to email.

Yes, a business appears on the register the moment it registers with the council to trade, which is exactly the point. You're seeing them at the earliest possible moment, before they've opened, before they've picked a supplier, and before your competitors know they exist. Freshness is the feature.
Is it actually legal to email these businesses?
For registered companies (Ltd/LLP), yes. Corporate subscribers can be contacted for B2B under the PECR "corporate subscriber" exemption, which was kept by the 2025 Data (Use and Access) Act. Sole traders are different, so we flag every row as safe-to-email or not. We've not found another feed that does. We never include personal data.
How do I know the leads will convert for me?
Try it before you pay. Your first weekly pack is free: real data for your borough, no card. Judge it on whether you'd have wanted to reach those venues. If it's not useful, you've lost nothing.
Can I cancel? Is there a contract?
No contract. Cancel any time in one click, and you keep whatever you've already received. The founder rate stays as long as you're subscribed.
