The honest comparison

"Can't I just get this data free?"

Yes. The food-hygiene register and Companies House are both free and public, we're not pretending otherwise. The question is what it takes to turn them into a weekly list of new food businesses you can actually sell to. Here's the real answer.

*A common new-company list sells 200 unfiltered rows for £29 as a one-off. Ours is the same price, recurring, food-only, and flagged for outreach.

What "free" actually costs

To match what lands in your inbox on a Monday, you'd scrape the food-hygiene register, pull Companies House, join them on name and address, strip out everything that isn't a real new food venue, and work out which ones you can lawfully email. Then do it again next week. If your time is worth anything, that's the most expensive £29 you'll ever save.

Why not a generic new-company list?

Those are Companies House with a coat of paint. They miss every sole trader (a big share of new food businesses), cover every sector so you're still filtering, carry no food-hygiene signal, and give you nothing on who's lawful to email. You're buying raw material and doing the same work again.

To be straight: if you're technical, have the time, and only want a handful of leads, the free data is a fine DIY project. We sell the finished result, food-only, matched, flagged, weekly, to people whose time is better spent selling.
